Minis Program

Y T-ball programs are designed to help players learn basic skills such as batting, catching, throwing, and the rules of the game. All kids are encouraged to play by getting equal chances to bat, run bases, and play in the field.

  • Ages 3 – 5, co-ed
  • Locations: Central Y
  • Program Months: January, February, March, May, June, July, August, September, October, and November.
  • Structure: Practices with Inner-squad scrimmages are held once per week
    • Days: Saturdays
    • 30 minutes of fun skills and drills, including breaks. Followed by 20 minutes of game play including breaks and time outs.
  • Led by: Y staff
  • Family Involvement: Highly recommended
