The Steam Room is closed for repairs. We anticipate a re-opening mid-August and will share a more specific timeline as we get closer to finalizing the project. Thank you for your understanding.

Central YMCA Branch

The Central Spokane YMCA is nationally unique as it is the first to be co-located with a YWCA to collaboratively serve our community. The YMCA occupies 50,000 sq. ft. on the west side of the building with an Aquatic Center with warm water pool, rec-lap lane pool and kids play structure; Teen and Family Activity Centers; Wellness Center for cardio, strength, and group exercise classes; and Gym. See Features below for more details or check out Programs for all our offerings.

The YWCA of Spokane occupies 30,000 sq. ft. on the east side of the building, offering ECEAP pre-school, Intimate Partner Domestic Violence Shelter (off-site), Legal Services, Our Sister’s Closet, Women to Work job readiness, and more.

YMCA members may park in the parking lot to the North of the building. The South lot is restricted to the YWCA and childcare drop off and pick up.

A FREE parking permit is required to park in the North parking lot. Pick one up at the Member Services desk.

Overflow Parking Option

The YMCA contracts with the Spokane Arena for the use of Lot A in the NE corner of the lot. Please do not park in other sections of the Arena parking lot. A FREE parking permit is required to park in the Arena Lot A parking lot. Pick one up at the Member Services desk.

Members may park in the parking lot to the North of the building, in the North Corporate lot and the South Corporate lot.

Please remember to be safe and use crosswalks at the corner of Boone and Lincoln, or Mallon and Lincoln.

Stay Informed of Parking Restrictions

To receive email notifications of Lot A restrictions due to Spokane Arena events, make sure Member Services has your current email address.

We encourage you to take advantage of these parking alternatives.
