Financial Assistance

As a mission-driven nonprofit organization, the YMCA of the Inland Northwest is committed to serving everyone in our community and ensuring they have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through access to our Ys. Everyone belongs at the Y, regardless of ability to pay. We believe fees should not be a barrier to participation with the Y and our Financial Assistance program enables all individuals and families to become active members and participants at a rate that fits their budgets. This program is possible thanks to the many generous donors who support the YMCA’s Philanthropy in Action – 100% of donations made to the Y help support kids, adults, and families in our local communities.

Membership For All

Our membership rates are on a sliding fee scale based on household income – designed to fit each family’s financial situation. When stated rates exceed current ability to pay, our Membership For All program is here to help. Simply give us a call or stop by any branch to schedule a meeting with a membership specialist who will work with you to find a temporary rate that meets your needs. Our team is ready and happy to assist. Household income may be shown with a copy of your most recent IRS Tax return (1040 or 1040a) to determine your adjusted monthly rate. 

Programs, Childcare, and Camp Reed*

For program assistance please complete the 2024 Childcare, Program & Camp Reed Financial Assistance Application, valid May 1, 2024 – April 30, 2025. Note: The Programs & Childcare Financial Assistance expires annually and must be resubmitted each year.

You can pick up and drop off the application at any YMCA branch. Applications and supporting documents can be mailed or emailed to the YMCA Corporate Office at 1126 N Monroe, Spokane, WA 99201, or delivered to any YMCA branch.

Assistance Applications can take up to 10 days to process once received, longer if the application is incomplete. Assistance cannot be applied until the application has been approved.
