All activities require a reservation

Why do I need a reservation?

  • To ensure that our members don’t have to wait due to capacity requirements, reservations are required at this time
  • Walk-ins are not recommended, as we cannot guarantee a spot will be available during busy times

Can I get more time or do a different activity if I want to?

  • We are happy to accommodate requests for more time or adding another reservation as space allows. Just speak with a YMCA staff member when you arrive for your reserved activity

Available Amenities 

  • Fitness Zones on the Wellness Floor: Cardio, Weight Equipment, and Strength Circuit Machines
  • Group Training/Group Exercise Classes*
  • Gymnasium: Family Basketball Time & Pickleball (Available at Central, North, and Valley)
  • Pools: Lap Lane Swim, Aqua Jogging, and Independent Exercise, Family Swim (Available at Central, North, and Valley)
  • Locker Rooms: for hand washing and restroom use only, except for those with pool reservations (10 minutes after swimming)

*Virtual Fitness Classes continue to be available via Facebook LiveZoom, and YouTube

Unavailable Amenities During Phase 2

  • Guest/Day Passes, Towels, Storage Cubbies, Water Features, Lazy River, Saunas, Steam Rooms, Spas, Teen/Youth Centers, Climbing Wall, and Child Watch
  • Locker Room Use: No showers or locker use. Locker rooms will be for hand washing and restroom use only, except for those with pool reservations
  • Kids Discovery Zone will be returning as soon as allowable under guidelines

What you need to know before you visit the Y:

HEALTH SCREEN: If any below conditions apply please stay home.

  • Temperature Check may not exceed 100 degrees (F).
  • Do you live or had close contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
  • Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
  • Do you have a cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of taste, or smell?
  • Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?


Face masks or coverings are required to be worn at all times by anyone 3 years and older throughout the facility. Face coverings can only be removed while in water but must be worn during exercise on the wellness floor.

  • Recommended face coverings: non-medical disposable masks, masks that fit properly over nose and mouth under the chin, made of breathable fabric (cotton), masks with 2 or 3 layers, masks with inner filter pockets.
  • Masks for wear during exercise can be found online or in sporting goods stores.  Mayo Clinic Article.
  • Not Recommended: Neck gaiters/buffs – As seen on the CDC website, there is ongoing evaluation regarding the efficacy of gaiters in reducing the spread of the virus.
  • Not Allowed: Masks with exhalation valves or vents, bandanas, and face shields are no longer allowed on their own. A person must wear a mask under the face shield or wear a face shield with a drape. A bandana affixed to the bottom of a face shield is acceptable. The primary function is to reduce or eliminate aerosols from a person’s mouth or nose from passing beyond the face shield and drape.


  • Arrive no more than 15 minutes early for longer check-in times.
  • Pass Health Screening and temperature check.
  • Self-check-in with membership card or App.
  • Bring Towel, Yoga Mat, Water Bottle (water fountains closed, bottle filling stations only), and bag for personal items, storage cubbies are limited.
  • Sign that you accept the Consent and Commitment to Reopening Policies.


  • Please come dressed and ready to swim as locker rooms will only be available for bathroom use and a 10-minute period AFTER your swim session for a shower and changing if needed.
  • All swimmers will be required to shower before entering the water using the pool deck shower.
  • You will have access to the pool for your reservation time only. Please show up on time and be ready to exit the pool area at the end of your session.
  • The lifeguard will blast their whistle 3 times at the end of each session. Please exit the pool and gather your belongings.
  • 2 people per lane per hour for lap swim and aqua jogging. Swimmers in the same lane will start from opposite ends to ensure physical distancing. Family members must each reserve their own time slot.
  • Five people per hour for independent exercise in the Recreational/Warm Water Pools. Family members may not share a reservation, each must reserve their own time slot.

What Else You Can Do:

  • Respect and practice physical distancing of 6 feet. Allow more distance when exercising
  • Wipe down all equipment before and after each use with provided supplies, along with any surfaces you touch in the locker rooms.
  • Wash and sanitize your hands before you enter and often throughout your stay.

  • Welcoming you back with happy smiles behind our masks and PPE!
  • Frequent hand washing and physical distancing.
  • Extra staff and shifts for enhanced sanitizing and cleaning throughout the building.
  • Wellness Ambassadors to answer questions and help maintain healthy spaces.
  • Y Pool Equipment: Kickboards, Water Weights, and Float Belts. All equipment will be appropriately sanitized by lifeguard staff between uses.

Welcome to the new and improved YMCA reservation system. Our partner MotionVibe has created a more robust experience with many more features.

How To Get Started: 

  1. The very first time, you will need to create an account by clicking the Sign Up Now link at the bottom of the Member Login screen.
  2. Enter your First Name, Last Name, and the Bar Code listed on your Membership Card or Key Tag. Call 509 777 9622 if you don’t have one.
  3. Create a Username and Password – check the “Remember Me” box or write it somewhere so you don’t forget.
  4. Enter your Birthdate, Email Address, and choose a Home Branch – the branch you visit the most.
  5. Choose the activity tile you want and you will see the schedule for the week.
  6. Activities within the 24-hour reservation window will be highlighted in green and are open for registration. It’s just that easy.

Please Note: To give all members a chance to enjoy the Y please limit your advanced reservations to 1 per day/per member. If you would like to continue your workout and space is available after your reserved time/class ends, please speak with a YMCA staff member. We will do our best to accommodate these requests.

  1. Go to the top row menu and select the profile button with your name.
  2. This will bring up the activities you are registered for.
  3. Simply click the Unregister button

No worries! If you would like to reactivate your membership*, complete the Membership Change Form (allow 2 business days for processing), call us at 509 777 9622, or visit any YMCA Branch.
