Effective Monday, August 23rd, members, staff, and guests inside YMCA locations will be required to wear a mask or face covering AT ALL TIMES, regardless of vaccination status. The only exceptions will be:
While swimming or engaged in other water recreation
While showering, bathing, or engaging in other personal hygiene or grooming activities that require removal of face covering
Children under 5 years old
Saunas and Steam Rooms
Masks are not required inside Steam room and Saunas
Limited to 1 person or 1 household at a time
15-minute max time, please be courteous of others who would like to use the sauna/steam room
Masks may be removed, for fully vaccinated individuals, while engaged in Pickleball, Basketball, or Volleyball on the courts in the gymnasium. Masks are required when not on the court playing.
Reservation Requirements Spokane Ys: Open Swim, some Group and Water Exercise classes, Youth Wellness Training, and complimentary new member Wellness Appointments.
Litehouse Y: Lap Swim, Water Walking, Open Swim, some Group and Water Exercise classes, Youth Wellness Training, and complimentary new member Wellness Appointments.

Why do I need a reservation in certain areas?
Open Swim and Water Exercise Classes: We are currently experiencing staffing challenges with lifeguards and instructors. To ensure that our members don’t have to wait when you arrive at your Y, reservations will guarantee your spot for areas that remain limited for safety measures.
Group Exercise Classes: Reservations will always be required for TRX and Cycling classes according to the equipment available. Some additional classes may also require reservation due to space capacity to ensure a positive experience for our members and prevent overcrowding.
Can I get more time or do a different activity if I want to?
We are happy to accommodate requests for more time or adding another reservation as space allows. Just speak with a YMCA staff member when you arrive.

Once you click the link, you will see the image below which will be the Member Login screen. To get started, click the Sign Up Now link at the bottom.
Enter your First Name, Last Name, and the Barcode listed on your Membership Card or Key Tag. If you are unsure where to find your barcode, give us a call 509 777 9622.
Create a Username and Password.
Enter your Birthdate, Email Address, and choose a Home Branch – the branch you visit the most.
Choose the activity Schedule you want and you will see the schedule for the week.
Activities within the 24-hour reservation window will be highlighted in green and are open for registration. It’s just that easy.
You will get a reminder email 2 hours prior to your reserved time. If you cannot attend, PLEASE UNRESERVE your time to allow others on the waitlist to attend:
Go to the top row menu and select the profile button with your name.
This will bring up the activities you are registered for.
Simply click the Unregister button
* If you are on a waitlist, please watch your email for notifications notifying you that you have been moved into a spot.
Please Note: To give all members a chance to enjoy the Y please limit your reservations to 1 per day/per member. If you would like to continue your workout and space is available after your reserved time/class ends, please speak with a YMCA staff member. We will do our best to accommodate these requests.
