The Camp Reed Challenge Course provides the opportunity for your school, team, or staff to grow together! This rewarding experience takes place at Camp Reed in a unique wilderness setting. Through fun and challenging activities and positive group dynamics, we facilitate individual growth and team bonding. Activities are not designed to be competitive but are designed to increase confidence, communication, and competence.
Our challenge course encompasses 13 roped and harnessed high elements and over 15 low elements, with exciting new high elements constructed in 2017. Contact us for more information on customizing the perfect program for your group!
We can accommodate groups from 8-100, and offer the choice of morning and afternoon sessions for even larger groups. Programs vary in length from 2 hours for high energy, props-based program right in camp to intense, highly productive 6 or 8-hour programs designed to maximize team potential. Our most popular program, often used by school groups, lasts 4 hours and includes a wide range of activities from icebreakers to a high element. We can help your classroom start the school year with tools for a successful classroom community, or help to celebrate the year with a spring session.
Camp Reed’s challenge course staff will work with you to determine group goals which will allow us to program effectively for your classroom’s needs. Common themes include communication, self-efficacy and resilience, leadership, inclusion, and creating new friendships across clique and socio-economic lines.
